Bugatti is reportedly developing a new one-off hypercar through its elite Programme Solitaire division. It has been less than a year since the program began operations but the division has already produced two highly publicized bespoke models. The Brouillard debuted as the first one-off at Pebble Beach and the FKP Hommage followed in March. Now a third exclusive model is officially in the works. The upcoming vehicle serves as a high-performance bridge between eras by combining the mechanical foundation of the Chiron with wild styling cues from both the aggressive Bolide and the recently launched Tourbillon.
The highly anticipated creation blends the radical aerodynamics of a track-only weapon with refined modern aesthetics. Initial reports indicate the exterior design will integrate specific lighting elements like the sharp X-shaped headlamps and the distinctive X-wing-like taillights directly from the Bolide. Under the striking new exterior shell the hypercar remains a Chiron at its core. The vehicle will continue to draw immense power from the iconic 8.0-liter W16 engine.
