Ford Performance, in collaboration with M-Sport, has unveiled the new Ford Raptor T1+, a pinnacle of Raptor design and off-road capability. Engineered to tackle the grueling Dakar Rally, the Raptor T1+ boasts advanced suspension and a powerful V8 engine, setting a new benchmark for rally raid vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Raptor T1+ features an advanced suspension system with adjustable Fox bypass dampers, ensuring superior handling and durability in extreme conditions. Its 5.0L Coyote-based V8 engine provides the necessary power and torque to navigate rugged terrains, complemented by a dry-sump oil system and a tuned exhaust for Dakar\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, the vehicle\u2019s design includes a T45 steel spaceframe and carbon fiber body panels, offering a striking appearance and performance benefits. It sits on 8.5-inch by 17-inch aluminum wheels with 37-inch tires and features front and rear 355mm Alcon ventilated discs with six-piston monoblock calipers. With up to 350mm of wheel travel and 400mm ground clearance, the Raptor T1+ is built to conquer the toughest off-road environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTaking on Dakar is a daunting task, but with M-Sport and Red Bull, we\u2019re ready,\u201d said Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, adding \u201cThe Raptor T1+ represents our global off-road vision to prove ourselves in the toughest places on earth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vehicle\u2019s competition schedule includes the 2024 Baja Hungary, Rallye du Maroc, and the ultimate test, the 2025 Dakar Rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
