F.A.T. International is making a historic return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking 30 years since their legendary victory. This revival, spearheaded by Ferdi Porsche, sees F.A.T.\u2019s iconic branding on Proton Competition\u2019s Porsche 963 Hypercar, car number 99, as part of the 2024 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neel Jani, the experienced driver of car 99, expressed his excitement, stating, \u201cAfter leading in Spa for almost 2 hours, we\u2019re eager to tackle the 24 Hours of Le Mans.\u201d Alongside Jani, Harry Tincknell and Julien Andlauer will join the driving team, aiming for new triumphs at the famous Circuit de la Sarthe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate this return, F.A.T. International has launched a limited edition capsule collection of apparel, featuring race suits designed in collaboration with Sparco and various streetwear items. The collection, reflecting F.A.T.\u2019s heritage and modern design ethos, will be available from June 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferdi Porsche highlighted the significance of this comeback, saying, \u201cReintroducing F.A.T. International to Le Mans is a momentous occasion. Our new livery honors classic designs while embracing modern aesthetics. This partnership with Proton Competition underscores our dedication to excellence and innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proton Competition\u2019s team owner, Chris Ried, echoed this enthusiasm, recognizing the storied history of F.A.T. in motorsport and expressing pride in this collaborative effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of writing, F.A.T.\u2019s number 99 car has completed 245 laps and finds itself in the number 15 position with just under four hours left in the race \u2014 for live updates, visit the 24 Hours of Le Mans official site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
