Porsche has announced the addition of 11 colors to its Paint to Sample (PTS) palette with the launch of the 992.2 generation of the 911 \u2014 also available for the 718 and Taycan models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights include \u201cSean Peach\u201d (22I), named after American designer Sean Wotherspoon and derived from his previous collaboration with Porsche which featured four unique colors. The new palette also includes \u201cNashy Blue\u201d (5NY), a solid medium blue named after Wotherspoon\u2019s son Nash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a comment to Hypebeast, the designer shared \u201cI started working with Porsche about three years ago. When we introduced my SW Taycan Art Car, Porsche gave me the chance to develop my own colors, so I named them after myself, my wife, and our kids.\u201d Now, two of these four colors are available as official PTS options via Porsche\u2019s official configurator, Wotherspoon further remarked \u201cThis means a lot to me personally just on the car guy side of things, but even more so seeing my son\u2019s name on the Porsche website, and to see friends ordering 911\u2019s named after him. It\u2019ll be so cool to have Nash going to a car show and seeing a \u2018Nashy Blue\u2019 911. Gotta be the coolest feeling \u2014 hopefully, he\u2019ll think it\u2019s as cool as I do!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional colors from the new lineup include \u201cEberlegreen\u201d (6JE) and \u201cAudrain Green Metallic\u201d (6RY), which add unique shades of green to the mix. Notably, Audrian Green Metallic was named in honor of a color commissioned by Audrain Auto Museum via the PTS Plus program for their 911 (992.1) GT3 and is inspired by the classic 356 color Lago Green Metallic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other colors include \u201cVerde Zeltweg Metallic\u201d (6VZ), a dark green originally from Ferrari, \u201cFrozen Berry Metallic\u201d (Y08), a metallic rose color, \u201cCentenaire Silver Metallic\u201d (7SD), \u201cDolomite Silver Metallic\u201d (Z96), \u201cArctic Grey\u201d (Z93), \u201cGuards Red\u201d (Y39) and the return of \u201cGTS Red\u201d (M3E), which was the launch color of the Cayenne GTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
