MINI has announced that its latest John Cooper Works (JCW) model will make its debut at the iconic 24 Hours of N\u00fcrburgring and not simply as a show car. This grueling endurance race, known for its demanding nature, will see the new model take on the legendary N\u00fcrburgring-Nordschleife track from June 1-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The petrol-powered MINI JCW, sporting a bespoke camouflage created by the MINI Design Team, pays tribute to the classic red and white color schemes of 1960s Minis. This nod to MINI\u2019s heritage is a testament to the brand\u2019s commitment to blending tradition with modern innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set for its world premiere in the fall of 2024, the New MINI JCW represents a significant milestone. The racecar will feature a distinctive \u201c37\u201d logo, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Mini Cooper S\u2019s victory at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo, celebrating MINI\u2019s storied motorsport legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New MINI JCW #317, entered by the private racing team Bulldog Racing from N\u00fcrburg, will compete in the SP 3T category. Dubbed the \u201cMINI John Cooper Works PRO,\u201d this Twin-Power Turbo racecar epitomizes the fusion of MINI\u2019s iconic design and Bulldog Racing\u2019s expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the beloved black MINI JCW #474, equipped with a manual transmission, will also compete. This car, which secured a podium finish at last year\u2019s event in the VT-2 category, has proven its endurance racing capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its commercial offering, the lineup will include both petrol and all-electric versions, with price and availability yet to be announced at the time of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
