This announcement came during the company\u2019s first-quarter earnings call, where they also reported a strong 15% increase in core earnings and maintained their financial outlook for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the EV\u2019s arrival is set for late 2026, Ferrari plans to offer a preview of its core technology much earlier. The \u201ctechnological heart\u201d of their debut electric model will be unveiled during Ferrari\u2019s Capital Markets Day, scheduled for October 9, 2025. This suggests that the company will first showcase the powertrain and key technical innovations that will underpin their EV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite this significant step into the electric vehicle market, Ferrari has emphasized that it will continue to produce and sell its traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) and hybrid models. This indicates a strategic approach to cater to a diverse range of preferences and navigate the evolving automotive landscape with a multi-powertrain strategy.
