Along with the new sleek models coming down the pipeline, Honda quietly revealed its first major logo change since 1981.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both the \u201c0 Saloon\u201d and \u201c0 SUV\u201d show a reimagined \u201cH\u201d emblem on their hoods, appearing wider and forgoing the box that frames the current logo. However, the updated emblem is not so new after all, as it appears to be a simplified version of Honda\u2019s first H logo introduced in 1961.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the 60s-era logo, which was used until 1969, Honda\u2019s classic wing logo from 1947 decorated the manufacturer\u2019s vehicles in various styles. In 1981 the familiar rounded square containing a taller \u201cH\u201d came into circulation, an icon still used by Honda in the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with the revamped brand identity, a futuristic sans-serif \u201cHonda\u201d wordmark was displayed on the back of a prototype shown at CES 2025. As Honda continues to share details about its forthcoming EVs, a closer look at the automaker\u2019s new visuals is likely to surface soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Honda is not the only auto-brand tweaking its brand identity for the EV revolution.
