The artist, best known for his patchwork Air Max 97s and color-blocked Taycan, drew inspiration from his early days admiring Harlequin Golfs and his deep connection to vintage fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commissioned by collector Philip Sarofim, with creative direction from Jimmy Howson\u2019s Stuff by Spot, the project reimagines the iconic RS with hues inspired by Meyers Manx, including \u201cOld Red\u201d on the hood. The interior is just as ambitious, crafted entirely from vintage Levi\u2019s denim, flannel and corduroy \u2014 all dating from the 1960s to the 1990s \u2014 and anchored by a cork dashboard leftover from Wotherspoon\u2019s Taycan collaboration. Door cards feature functional Levi\u2019s pockets, while each panel and stitch nods to the car\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s about using as much color as possible in a way that sparks curiosity,\u201d says Wotherspoon, who spent eight months curating the build. The car debuted on the streets of LA, turning heads instantly. \u201cNature never gets criticized for being colorful,\u201d he adds. \u201cThis project was my way of bringing that same beauty to the road.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\"
