On August 12, HIMA released the official images of the new AITO M7 in the Island Blue color. The new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV, offering both pure electric and range-extended versions, and is set to be launched in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the official images, the new car adopts the latest Kunpeng design language, featuring full-width LED daytime running lights and a trapezoidal ventilation and cooling opening design on the front bumper. The headlights are a bit smaller and flatter, giving the overall design a high level of recognition, which is quite similar to the AITO M8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side of the new car features semi-hidden door handles and chrome trim along the lower edge of the doors. At the rear, a roof spoiler is added, and the tail light set adopts a full-width design, complemented by a full-width chrome trim to enhance the sense of luxury. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5080mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3030mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new car features the HUAWEI ADS 4 advanced driver assistance system, with lidar standard on all trims. Two configurations are available. The roof-lidar setup includes one 192-line lidar, one rear-facing high-precision solid-state lidar (D-TOF), and five 4D millimeter wave radars, aligning with the overall setup of the AITO M8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of power, based on the previously exposed application information, the new car will offer two powertrain options: a pure electric version and a range-extended version. The range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 118 kW, and offers single or dual motor options. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 227 kW, while the dual-motor version has a maximum power of 392 kW. The pure electric version also offers single or dual motor options, with the same maximum power as in the range-extended version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
