German luxury mobility brand BRABUS has officially pulled the sheet off the BRABUS \u201cBODO,\u201d an all-new, strictly limited coachbuilt 2+2-seater Gran Turismo coupe. Unveiled live on stage at the prestigious FuoriConcorso event along Lake Como, Italy, this Masterpiece supercar serves as a direct homage to the brand\u2019s late founder, Bodo Buschmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the Aston Martin Vanquish and constructed almost entirely from high-strength carbon fiber using an advanced pre-preg autoclave process, the BODO strikes a sculptural silhouette designed to balance high-speed stability with the brand\u2019s signature \u201c1-Second-Wow\u201d design language. The lightweight composite body plays a crucial role in maintaining a remarkably low dry weight of 1,774kg for a vehicle measuring over 16.4\u2019 feet in length. Up front, the aggressive fascia is punctuated by unique LED matrix headlights, a custom 13-slat radiator grille, and large RAM-AIR ducts for maximum induction. Active aerodynamics define the rear end, where an electrically deployable two-stage spoiler dynamically adjusts to add downforce or act as an instant air brake during heavy deceleration above 87mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heart of the coachbuilt masterpiece is a proprietary, hand-built 5.2L V12 bi-turbo engine that generates 1,000hp at 6,400 rpm and a continuous 885 lb-ft of torque. Power is channeled directly to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with an electronic locking differential. On the tarmac, BODO sprints the 0-100kmph in 3 seconds, passes 300 kmph in 23.9 seconds, and keeps pulling until it hits an electronically limited top speed of 360 kmph (just about 224 mph).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BODO rides on custom-made 21\u201d BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT \u201cShadow Edition\u201d forged wheels, paired with custom SportContact 7 Force high-performance tires developed exclusively by technology partner Continental. Behind the wheels, massive six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers clamp down on ventilated, perforated carbon-ceramic composite brake discs to ensure fade-resistant stopping power. The chassis features an electronically controlled KW aluminum coilover setup offering five distinct driving modes\u2014Wet, GT, Sport, Sport+, and Individual\u2014allowing the driver to instantly recalibrate the adaptive damping, suspension lift system, and engine mapping from the cockpit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aesthetics continue inside, where the bespoke Masterpiece cockpit has been built entirely by hand within BRABUS\u2019s in-house upholstery workshop. Adhering to a stealthy \u201cPiano Black\u201d and \u201cShadow Gray\u201d color palette, the cabin is swathed in premium leathers featuring precise stitching in the proprietary BRABUS \u201cShell\u201d design. Exposed carbon fiber lines the dashboard, center console, and flat-bottomed steering wheel. Paying close attention to the finer details, the founder\u2019s signature is embroidered directly into the door panels, while the sleek silhouette of the coupe is stitched into the seat backrests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BRABUS \u201cBODO\u201d is strictly limited to just 77 units worldwide, built entirely to order according to the individual specifications of each buyer. Base price starts at an even \u20ac1,000,000 EUR, or just above $1,162,600 USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
