Bowers & Wilkins and Volvo have worked together closely over the years, a decade-long partnership wherein the British audio brand has designed and built premium, bespoke sound systems for the Swedish car maker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their most recent collaboration, however, sees the duo team up with a third party, Abbey Road, the legendary London music studio made famous on the cover of the Beatles\u2019 eponymous 11th album, with the now trio co-developing an all-new sound profile for Bowers & Wilkins car audio systems and debuting it in Volvo\u2019s seven-seater electric SUV \u2013 the EX90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new \u2018Abbey Road Studios Mode\u2019 is described by Bowers & Wilkins as \u201can innovative new sound technology designed to transform the in-car listening experience\u201d, one that it claims will bring the signature sound of Abbey Road\u2019s iconic studios to life in its listeners\u2019 cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music is something you need to hear, almost feel, to fully experience and to showcase the new \u2018Abbey Road Studios Mode\u2019 \u2013 both how it sounds and how it was developed \u2013 the brands hosted an interactive experience at Abbey Road, the famous London recording studios, where guests were treated to a panel hosted by Jamz Supernova and a live performance by Ezra Collective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road have worked together since 1980, an alliance they say has always been \u201cat the forefront of audio innovation\u201d and one that is Volvo drivers are benefitting from 44 years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
