Following clearance to access the area, the bus was transported to VW\u2019s Oxnard Engineering Campus, home to the brand\u2019s historic fleet, where a thorough inspection revealed the need for extensive repairs despite its photogenic \u201cgood side.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Restoration efforts are underway, with work expected to be completed later this year. The project reflects Volkswagen\u2019s ongoing support for California communities impacted by wildfires.
