Lamborghini took center stage at Lake Como\u2019s most prestigious automotive events over the weekend, bringing both elegance and racing heritage to the Concorso d\u2019Eleganza Villa d\u2019Este and Fuoriconcorso. Among the standout appearances was the iconic 1981 Countach LP400 S \u201cPace Car,\u201d which received its official Certificate of Authenticity from Lamborghini Polo Storico during a handover ceremony at Villa Grumello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Countach, once used as the official Safety Car at the 1981 Monaco Grand Prix, joined a historic Diablo SVR and a rare Lamborghini Formula 1 car as part of Fuoriconcorso\u2019s \u201cVelocissimo\u201d theme dedicated to racing. The SVR, still undergoing certification, and the Formula 1 single-seater added to the brand\u2019s strong presence, reinforcing Lamborghini\u2019s deep motorsport roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the nearby Villa d\u2019Este, Lamborghini\u2019s legacy was represented by a 1972 Miura SV. Finished in red and previously certified by Polo Storico in 2018, the Miura competed in Class C, dedicated to post-war European sports cars. As the only Lamborghini at the concours, the Miura stood out not only for its design but for its authenticity and heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dual participation underscores Lamborghini\u2019s commitment to honoring its past while maintaining a leading role in the world\u2019s top concours and motorsport celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
