The vehicle comes to life as part of the restomod group\u2019s \u201cClassic Study\u201d series, which resulted from the maker asking itself the question \u201cWhat if the DNA of this iconic sports car was reimagined for the twenty-first century?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The particular example in question, known as the \u201cSan Juan Commission,\u201d stands out as a testament to Singer\u2019s craftsmanship and attention to detail. Inspired by the vibrant and exotic character of Puerto Rico\u2019s capital, this car combines the familiar with the extraordinary. From its Grand Prix White and Singer Racing Green exterior \u2014 a nod to the iconic 2.7 Carrera RS \u2014 to its upgraded chassis, every aspect of this vehicle has been carefully considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the San Juan Commission is a hand-built, 4.0L, flat-six engine by Ed Pink Racing Engines, delivering 390 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain allows the car to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.3 seconds. Complementing this performance is a six-speed manual transmission, chosen to deliver a driving experience that is engaging and pure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior is equally as impressive, featuring Recaro sport seats upholstered in a unique blend of leathers, Alcantara suedes and vibrant stitching that echoes the car\u2019s exterior color scheme.
