Jaguar has announced the culmination of its internal combustion sports car era with the reveal of a special limited-edition F-TYPE ZP Edition, slated to be its final gas-powered sports car before transitioning to an all-electric lineup in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exclusive edition, set to release in 2024, pays homage to its iconic 1960s racing E-types and is limited to just 150 units globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically inspired by the first race-winning \u201cProject ZP\u201d E-types from the early \u201960s, the F-TYPE ZP Edition is available in two unique colorways \u2013 a sleek Oulton Blue Gloss paint with a Mars Red and Ebony leather interior, or a Crystal Grey Gloss paint paired with a Navy Blue and Ebony leather interior. Notably, these exterior colors are premiering on the F-TYPE, having been specially crafted earlier for the E-type Project ZP Collection cars by Jaguar Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the hood, the F-TYPE ZP Edition houses nearly 570 hp produced by a supercharged petrol V8 engine, designed for exceptional performance across all terrains and weather conditions. With a robust all-wheel-drive system enhanced by Jaguar\u2019s Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology, the car boasts a 0-60mph time of just 3.5 seconds, capping the top speed at an electronically-limited 186mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior and exterior details of this edition have been meticulously curated by SV Bespoke, featuring Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and grille surrounds \u2014 a nod to its racing history \u2014 horizontal seat fluting and Gloss Black accents. Additionally, Gloss Black Diamond Turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, exclusive F-TYPE ZP Edition branding and a \u201cOne of 150\u201d SV Bespoke commissioning plaque further highlight the vehicle\u2019s collectible status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rawdon Glover, the Managing Director of Jaguar, said \u201cAs Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar\u2019s internal combustion sports car provenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added \u201cF-TYPE has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector\u2019s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The F-TYPE ZP Edition will soon be available to order via inquiry through Jaguar\u2019s official site, with the Coup\u00e9 model priced at $165,000 USD and the Convertible model priced at 170,000 USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
