The latest news to come out of his messaging spree relates to the much-anticipated Tesla Cybertruck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an X post, he suggested that his electric vehicles company Tesla might just offer the option of a \u201cscratch-proof\u201d coating for the Cybertruck. The electric pick-up truck could receive a coating that is similar that to the toughness of diamonds to prevent key scratches and more. Musk responded to a fan who wrote that people who will be trying to key a Cybertruck \u201cwill be ruining their keys.\u201d He stated, \u201cWe might be able to offer an optional tungsten carbide coating, which is basically scratch-proof to everything below diamond hardness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the moment Tesla wrote on their website regarding the exterior toughness and durability of the Cybertruck, stating that it is \u201cbuilt with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and passenger protection. Starting with a nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for superior strength and endurance, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin to Tesla armor glass.\u201d This appears to not be enough for Musk who plans to take one step further with the upcoming EV lineup.
