This will mark the company\u2019s fourth EV expected to release around that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The news is unsurprising as luxury carmakers are moving towards EV models. The brand also confirmed an electric Macan back in 2020, signaling that Porsche\u2019s other models will likely follow suit. Although not much was revealed about the car, Blue did say that the electric Porsche Cayenne will be based on the SUV\u2019s fourth generation and not the third. While it is confirmed, consumers should not expect the EV to hit retailers for at least a few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past, Blume also announced that Porsche has been developing an all-new electric SUV last summer. The EV does not have a name just yet but is slated to be a higher grade than the Macan and Cayenne.
