Texas-based performance engineering company Hennessey has flipped the switch on the powerful Venom F5 model by turning it into a track-focused animal. Birthing the Venom F5 Revolution the new hypercar still harbors the signature strength of Hennessey\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading the charge is a brag-worthy stat of 1,817 horsepower with a twin-turbocharged V8 powertrain competition-ready engine. Even though the Venom F5 was just as fast, the Revolution model has been outfitted with a few new updates to give it an edge over its relative. The range of enhancements includes retuned suspension, a roof-mounted air intake, digital track telemetry, improved agility and re-designed elements for aerodynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another notable alteration is the group\u2019s focus on weight reduction \u2013 making it the lightest Venom F5 as the Revolution sits at under 3000 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI led engineering on some of the most extreme cars to come out of GM, including the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V, but nothing compares to designing, developing, and refining a race car for the road like the Venom F5 Revolution,\u201d said John \u2018Heinrocket\u2019 Heinricy, Hennessey\u2019s chief engineer. \u201cFrom the outset, we designed the Venom F5 hypercar to be ultra-light and monstrously powerful, with dynamics to match. So, taking these ingredients and adding track-focused aerodynamics, suspension, and gearing, enabled us to create a machine that is the ultimate visceral and emotional driving experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a price tag of $2.7 million USD, Hennessey is limiting the hypercar to just 24 units. Hennessey\u2019s Venom F5 Revolution is set to make its debut at Miami Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d\u2019Elegance on Sunday, January 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
