When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down offices across the world in March 2020, many white-collar workers adjusted to working from home and some loved being away from the office so much that they became \u201cdigital nomads,\u201d people who, per Wikipedia, \u201ctravel freely while working remotely using technology and the internet.\u201d Now, Mitsubishi has created the ultimate vehicle for these digital nomads through its Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation: the NOMADPro Canter Truck. A concept van that\u2019s a mobile office and living space all in one, the NOMADPro offers workers who refuse to be tethered to one location a chance to make anywhere in the world their office \u2014 and their home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design\u2019s base is Mitsubishi\u2019s widely used 2WD Canter truck, with a standard driving carriage and a cargo area that\u2019s been converted into a compact live\/work space. There\u2019s a workstation that\u2019s large enough to fit two people, a storable table and bench, a movable bed, a tiny kitchen and sink and even a shower room. One of the concept truck\u2019s stated goals was to \u201charness the healing power of nature,\u201d so the entire right side flips open, enabling its occupants to quite literally get closer to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can see the NOMADPro Canter Truck\u2019s design features in the gallery and video above. At the time of writing, a price or purchasing information for the truck has yet to be announced as it\u2019s still in its concept phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
