After working with Round Two\u2018s Sean Wotherspoon to build a special-edition Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, Porsche now reveals another personal Taycan hatchback designed exclusively for BLACKPINK star Jennie. The car is Porsche Korea\u2019s first project realized from its Sonderwunsch (translating to \u201cspecial request\u201d) program, featuring creative input from Jennie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs an artist, JENNIE is used to creative collaborations. She even brought a mood board to our meeting that visualized the initial ideas and reflected their reception,\u201d recalls project manager Grant Larson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dressed in metallic black paintwork with 21-inch Exclusive Design rims in Meissenblue, Jennie opts for a relatively understated exterior. Highlights include illuminated \u201cJennie Ruby Jane\u201d lettering across the front door entry guards with her nickname \u201cNiNi\u201d found on the rear doors. Typography from the Porsche 911 992 is used on the visible text details and projectors on the front doors project the \u201cJennie Ruby Jane\u201d cloud logo that she created herself on the ground. Below, custom wheel hub covers feature the text \u201cSonderwunsch\u201d and the artist\u2019s name. Stepping inside, \u201cBlack\u201d and \u201cCrayon\u201d hues are trimmed in \u201cMeissenblue\u201d with headrests adorned in cloud logos. A custom indoor car cover and a black dog box for Jennie\u2019s Pomeranian \u201cKuma\u201d are added as an extra touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing able to collaborate so intensively on my own very personal Porsche was an amazing experience,\u201d says Jennie. \u201cI\u2019m especially proud of having designed the visualization of the clouds. I spend a lot of time traveling around the world \u2013 the sky and the clouds are my traveling companions and a beautiful symbol of these unique experiences. This is why I feel a special connection to them and am so passionate about photographing these nature motifs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was an exciting experience working with Jennie from BLACKPINK on Porsche Korea\u2019s first Sonderwunsch project. Jennie is an influential global icon that represents a generation of young and creative opinion leaders and the \u2018Generation Z\u2019 in Korea,\u201d adds Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea. \u201cI was impressed by her commitment and ideas, which went into her very personal Porsche. With the new Sonderwunsch program, we are pursuing the goal of enabling people with very different lifestyles to make their dream of the perfect sports car come true.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
