Now, CEO Ola K\u00e4llenius has provided more info on when, exactly the electric G-Class would become available to the general public. Per a report from Autoblog, K\u00e4llenius told members of the media that the special vehicle should be brought to market by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mercedes-Benz provided a close-up look at a concept version of the EQG back in 2021 \u2014 originally announcing that it would be available in 2025 \u2014 and K\u00e4llenius reported that an early prototype he\u2019d tested at Mercedes-Benz\u2019s G-Class testing grounds in Graz, Austria was more than up to snuff. \u201cFrom now on, going off-road is electric,\u201d he told reporters. Mercedes-Benz also plans to make its fleet of vehicles fully electric by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, an exact date of arrival and pricing information for the Mercedes-Benz EQG has yet to be revealed. After all, it\u2019s a full two years away.
