To complement the car\u2019s \u201cunique bonded aluminum chassis,\u201d Polestar has designed a new powertrain that\u2019s currently under development in Sweden, where the automaker\u2019s sibling company Volvo resides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The setup will consist of two motors, with the one at the rear tapping into an 800-Volt architecture.
