Their latest version of the Model S and Model 3 has received positive comments from audiophiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past, Tesla\u2019s audio system has always been compared to a Bang &amp; Olufsen system, which is often found in premium vehicles, however, for a fraction of the price. Musk took on Twitter to comment on the comparison:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tesla audio engineers come from B&amp;O &amp; many other companies. They literally rock. Our system is highly programmable, so we keep improving it via OTA codec updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For years, Tesla owners have been asking about the possibility of adopting Apple AirPlay, which uses adopts Wi-Fi as opposed to Bluetooth. Owners suggested that since Tesla vehicles are equipped with Wi-Fi, implementing AirPlay would provide lossless streaming. Musk commented on this and claimed that a solution would be discussed with the audio team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past, Tesla has been reluctant to integrate Apple\u2019s software into their vehicles. For instance, Apple CarPlay is a feature that owners of Tesla have requested previously. However, Tesla chose to continue with its own software ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Will discuss this and other improvements with Tesla audio engineering.
