Throughout the course of the season, performance upgrades will be delivered via software updates to the car\u2019s advanced operating systems, which are optimized specifically for street racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of Formula E\u2019s sustainability initiatives, Gen3 is also the world\u2019s first net-zero carbon race car in the world\u2019s first net-zero carbon sport. Every aspect of the racecar, from the natural materials used in the tires to the recycled carbon fiber used in bodywork, has been reimagined with eco-conscious life cycle thinking at the core.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBoth technologically and environmentally, Gen3 sets new standards in the sport,\u201d says FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem. \u201cThe FIA and Formula E development teams have done a superb job, and I thank them for their hard work on this project.
