Bugatti has officially unveiled Programme Solitaire, its ultra-exclusive one-of-one customization program, with the debut of its first commission: the Brouillard. Expanding on the brand’s legacy of coachbuilding and drawing inspiration from Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse of the same name, Brouillard introduces a new era of personalization that goes far beyond Sur Mesure. The 1,600 PS W16-powered Coupé features sculpture-like bodywork influenced by equine musculature, a cathedral-like glass roof, tartan fabrics, green-tinted carbon fiber and a gear shifter with a hand-crafted sculpture of Ettore’s horse embedded within.
Created for a passionate Bugatti collector, Brouillard channels the artistry of the Bugatti family—from Carlo’s furniture to Rembrandt’s bronze sculptures—into a singular automotive expression. Bugatti will build no more than two Solitaire commissions per year, each based on existing platforms but reimagined with entirely bespoke design and craftsmanship.
