Cadillac Unveils “Elevated Velocity” Concept

Cadillac pulled the wraps off its boldest concept yet at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering: the Elevated Velocity, an all-electric, high-performance crossover that fuses the brand’s V-Series legacy with ultra-luxury and future-facing design. Positioned as a 2+2 performance crossover, the Elevated Velocity concept balances on-road precision with off-road capability, riding on 24-inch wheels and a lifted platform designed for desert terrain. Its name reflects this duality: “Elevated” for its refined cabin experience and “Velocity” for its high-performance EV character.

Inside, the futuristic interior offers immersive drive modes that transform the atmosphere. Welcome Mode greets occupants with illuminated panels and gull-wing doors. Elevate Mode turns the cabin into a recovery lounge with retractable controls, infrared light therapy and synchronized breathing visuals. Velocity Mode sharpens focus with cool-toned lighting, a deployable wheel and AR HUD navigation. Selectable driving modes include e-Velocity for road, Terra for off-road and Sand Vision for sandstorm visibility.

On the outside, the Vapor Blue body with flinty grey undertones recalls glacial ice, contrasted with a fiery red interior inspired by desert polo pursuits. Sculptural lines, fluted translucent lighting and Cadillac’s signature vertical taillights define its presence. Though just a design study, that’s not planned for production, the Elevated Velocity signals Cadillac’s intent to push beyond luxury SUVs into the realm of electrified hyper-performance crossovers.
