LeBron James is officially expanding his impressive automotive collection with a crown jewel from Mercedes-Benz. The NBA legend and the German automaker have proudly unveiled a highly customized Mercedes-Maybach S 680, completely personalized from bumper to bumper to meet the exact specifications of the Los Angeles Lakers forward.
To bring this bespoke vision to life, James worked directly through the exclusive Mercedes-Maybach Manufaktur to Measure program. For the exterior, he selected a striking, non-metallic light ivory paint finish that guarantees the limousine won’t fly under the radar. Inside the cabin, the luxurious aesthetic continues with a rich dark blue interior crafted from premium Nappa leather and Alcantara. Adding a signature, highly personal touch to the build, James’s iconic King’s crown logo is prominently featured throughout the vehicle.
Underneath the bespoke styling, the Maybach S 680 remains an absolute powerhouse. Defying industry downsizing trends, the luxury sedan boasts a massive 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of pumping out 621 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, the heavyweight limousine can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. While the standard Maybach S 680 carries a starting price of $244,400 in the United States, the heavy customization on this specific build likely pushes the final price tag closer to the $300,000 mark. Notably, Mercedes-Maybach has teased that this ivory model is actually one of two exclusive S-Class vehicles spec’d by James, promising to reveal the second iteration in the near future.
