After BYD, now Chery is considering to enter Japan

It appears that Chery now has its sights set on Japan, as a recently online brand preview was held in Japan.

During said brand preview event,Car Watchreported that Chery revealed that it is “considering entering the Japanese market”.

The Wuhu-based company went on to say, “We recognize Japan as one of the important markets in the global right-hand drive market. Furthermore, Cherry’s automotive business already operates in more than 130 countries and regions, and we want to offer products that have earned the trust of more than 20 million customers worldwide and have a proven track record in the market to the people of Japan as well.”
