Mercedes-Maybach and LeBron James have officially showcased the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 S-Class, crafted through the brand’s MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure program. Unveiled at Pebble Beach, the collaboration introduces two bespoke vehicles—one created for James’ personal collection and a near-identical twin built to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation through an upcoming charity auction.
The custom S 680 pairs Maybach’s highest level of craftsmanship with personal details honoring the NBA star’s legacy and hometown origins. Finished in a MANUFAKTUR light ivory non-metallic exterior, the vehicle’s interior features blue “Stormy Weather” Nappa leather accompanied by porcelain contrast stitching. In a historic first for the marque, the traditional V12 badge has been replaced by a bespoke emblem featuring LeBron’s signature crown logo.
Custom cabin touches include personalized cushions, floor mats, and headrests displaying James’ signature branding across the seating surfaces. Rooted in his community ties, each vehicle incorporates discreet engravings and a bespoke badge featuring the geographical coordinates of Akron, Ohio. The dual builds serve as a centerpiece for Mercedes-Benz at Pebble Beach, emphasizing ultra-high-level personalization and philanthropy.
The twin Mercedes-Maybach S 680 will be auctioned later this year, with all proceeds directly benefiting the LeBron James Family Foundation and its I PROMISE initiatives supporting students and families in Akron, Ohio.
